| PINOCHLE (Single Deck) |
| A total of 4 games will be played. Deal 7 cards per player and the two remaining cards make up the kitty. 1st round – Players give points in hand (not including runs). 2nd round – Each player bids, starting at 16 (can pass if do not want to bid). Highest bidder names trump and gets kitty, but must discard 2 cards from hand. If no one bids dealer must take play for 15 points. All players lay down their points for count. 9 of trump earns 1 point. Trump may be led at any time. Player must always try to take trick, i.e. if does not have suite played must trump. If has higher card of suite played must play it, even if it is his partner’s trick.
