Good Sam Members
We hope this finds all to be in good health. Our prayer list has been long since the
first of the year due to illness and all types of surgery.
Our Spring Samboree was another success in Okeechobee. We had over 800
attendees participate in the activities and fellowship. I would like to personally thank all
of our volunteers for all of your time and help at this samboree. All three nights of
entertainment were outstanding. Our Friday night entertainment was most interesting
and put on by Trail Blazing Sams. It was obvious they enjoyed what they did, and had
fun doing it. It always amazes me, when a chapter steps up to do anything to make a
samboree enjoyable for everyone.
Due to the Easter holiday falling on the 24th of April in 2011, our spring samboree will
be May 4th thru 8th, 2011 with early bird on the 3rd of May.
As most of us attend our last camp out with our chapters for the summer, we ask that
you be safe in your travels and most of all have FUN.
Please do not forget our fall samboree at Wekiva Falls RV Resort on November 17-21,
2010. So far we have not advertised in the Highways magazine, and as of May 4th we
already have 185 sites reserved, with ONLY 400 sites available. The applications are on
the web page site, and IF you plan on attending, please don't hesitate in sending in your
application.
